Early Bird Registration Now Open for VideoSchmooze on Dec. 3rd
Early bird discounted registration for the next VideoSchmooze: Online Video Leadership Forum, on Tues. morning, Dec. 3rd in NYC is now open. Individual tickets are $95. This will be the 10th VideoSchmooze and I think it will be the best one yet, jam-packed with learning and networking. As always, the VideoSchmooze program is a 360 degree view into all of the video industry's most important trends.
Last year's VideoSchmooze sold out, so don't delay registering. As an extra incentive, all early bird registrants will be entered to win prizes including an iPad, the complete series of "Breaking Bad" on Blu-ray/UltraViolet and several Chromecasts, generously provided by Unicorn Media. As with last year, the program kicks off with "A Deep Dive Into Video's Tectonic Shifts," with 2 of the most respected video analysts around, Craig Moffett of MoffettNathanson LLC (formerly SVP at Sanford Bernstein, who is the #1 ranked cable/broadband Wall St. analyst) and Bruce Leichtman, president and principal analyst at Leichtman Research Group, whose research of consumer behavior with broadband and TV are well-established benchmarks). Expect a detailed, data-driven discussion of topics including over-the-top competition, TV Everywhere, cord-cutting, content licensing, connected and mobile devices, changes in consumer behavior and 2014 trends.
Other sessions include "Is TV Everywhere Finally Breaking Through" (where we'll explore whether the industry's most strategic priority is gaining momentum), "Online Video Advertising Takes Center Stage" (with senior agency and technology executives examining the key opportunities and challenges) and "Mobile Video Rising: New User Experiences and Monetization" (with 4 leading content providers who will share insights on how they're succeeding with tablet and smartphone viewing).
New at this year's VideoSchmooze are 2 research presentations. FreeWheel will premier its Q3 '13 Video Monetization Report, which tracks trends in video viewership and monetization across devices. And Videology will present key findings for the first time of a new study it conducted with a major research firm around how convergence is affecting the buying/selling of video/TV advertising.
The lead sponsors for this 10th VideoSchmooze are FreeWheel, Synacor, thePlatform and Undertone, with branding sponsors Clearleap, Unicorn Media and VideoHub. I'm extremely grateful for these companies' support in making VideoSchmooze possible. The video landscape is more complicated than ever, making VideoSchmooze a must-attend event for executives who need to understand what's really driving the industry.
I look forward to seeing you on Dec. 3rd!Categories: Events
